Temp Zone

Temping for Rutledge is straight forward, rewarding and allows you to find flexible employment that fits around your calendar and commitments.

You can take advantage of both short and long term bookings that only require commitment to the duration of the role. These assignments can be casual or seasonal, full or part time, ranging from 1 day to 1 year, you decide.

Working for Rutledge can be fun, challenging and very rewarding and we ask that you work hard whilst on your assignment regardless if this is for 1 day or 1 month. Reputations take time to build and can be destroyed in seconds so it’s very important that you are committed to the assignment and in return you will be rewarded with consultants that you will go the extra mile for you.

We ask that you can;

  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • Behave professionally and dress accordingly
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations


Timesheets are YOUR responsibility. Please ensure that timesheets are submitted by 3pm on Monday, clearly signed by your line manager so that we can process your wages on time. We can accept timesheets by post, fax or email.

We would encourage you to give us a call to ensure it has been received.

Failure to submit your timesheet by the cut off may result in late payment of wages.


You will receive a payslip and a blank timesheet for future assignments via the post and payment will be lodged directly into your bank account on the Friday of the week following the week you work.

If for whatever reason you suspect that your pay is incorrect you should make contact with your consultant.

Once contact is made with the consultant please allow adequate time to investigate and resolve the issue.

Holiday Pay

All temporary workers are entitled to holiday pay.

As a temporary worker you are entitled to take 4 weeks off per calendar year based on the holiday entitlement being accrued.

You must request holidays from your consultant and give at least 2 weeks’ notice to allow for cover.

Before joining Rutledge I had not really known much about them as an agency. My experience has been great , from the initial interview to accepting a position.
