Our Client an Irish facility based in Mayo is currently seeking an experienced Microbiologist

Summary of main duties and responsibilities:

• Carrying out microbiological testing as assigned (LAL, Cytoxicity, Bioburden, Water Analysis, Sterility, Microbial limits, Preservative Efficacy and Spore Population of BI tests)
• Compile reports for the tests and review test results
• Carry out quality control tests as assigned
• Address all deviations raised and carry out Laboratory Investigations as required
• Implement, review and update SOP''s as required
• Liaise with Clients
• Act as a mentor for staff

Requirements for this role:

• Minimum of BSc. Microbiology
• 2-3 years industry experience
• GMP regulatory experience
• IT skills
• Strong Customer Focus
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
