Our client, a leading FMCG company based in Co. Tyrone is looking to recruit a Technical & Quality Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the General Manager your duties will include:

1. Lead and develop the technical team, identifying training needs as appropriate.

2. Promote a “can do” attitude within the team encouraging a supportive, problem solving approach.

3. Monitor and review Quality Management and H.A.C.C.P systems in accordance with BRC and Customer codes of practice.

4. Ensure the site has Technical compliance and regularly review relevant issues with Hygiene and Production Teams.

5. Review and action any KPI target variances in Customer Complaints Microbiological, Analytical and Quality Assessments.

6. Liaise cross functionally to resolve operational technical problems and drive improvements in factory standards.

7. Auditing of third party finished product suppliers, and key ingredients and packaging suppliers

8. Comply with all company & industry requirements pertaining to foodsafety, quality & legality.

9. Any other duties as requested by management

Candidates will have previous experience as a Technical/Quality Manager in a FMCG environment.

Be able to work in the Strabane area.
